Scotland’s Outdoor Centre

offers a high-energy Axe Throwing experience that emphasizes precision, technique, and historic "inner warrior" fun.

Operating as a fully mobile specialist, they bring professional targets and expert instructors to your chosen location—be it a private estate, a wedding venue, or a corporate retreat—across Scotland and the UK.

The Axe Throwing Experience

  • Mobile Range Setup: They handle everything from risk assessment to the installation of a safe, regulated throwing range on-site.

  • Specialist Equipment: Participants use authentic throwing tools, typically tomahawks axes, designed specifically for balance and a satisfying "stick" in timber targets.

  • Technical Coaching: Sessions are led by instructors who provide a comprehensive safety briefing and one-to-one coaching. They focus on the rhythm, trajectory, and release needed to hit a bullseye rather than raw strength.

  • Competitive Fun: Most sessions include "not-so-serious" competitions and skill-based challenges to test the accuracy of friends, family, or colleagues.

Event Integration

Axe throwing is a versatile activity that the centre frequently integrates into broader event packages:

  • Multi-Activity Days: It is often paired with Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery for a complete 2-hour outdoor sports rotation.

  • Highland Games: It can serve as a standalone attraction or a "station" within a larger Highland Games-themed team-building day.

  • Celebrations: Due to its interactive nature, it is a popular choice for weddings, and corporate "away days" at scenic locations

Safety & Requirements

  • Strict Supervision: Every session is strictly controlled by the instructional team to ensure all safety boundaries are respected.

  • Open to Beginners: No prior experience is necessary, making it an accessible adrenaline fix for most ages and fitness levels.
